Murzionak was born into a family of teachers in the Lastavichy District of the Vitebsk Region. He is a Doctor of Medical Sciences and has over 160 scientific publications in the field of physiology and immunology. A quarter of a century ago, in 1998, he moved with his family to Canada. Before leaving, he held the position of head of the Department of Applied Physiology at the Institute of Physiology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, and professor and head of the Department of Immunology at the A. D.
