Adults love fairy tales more than anything else in the world, but people are ashamed to admit it,” says the hero of Bakharevich’s new book. To pay off his debt to the creditor, the writer-debtor writes fairy tales – and for a whole month reads them to shameless adults every evening. With each passing day, the narrator’s fairy-tale world becomes more and more real, and the reality in which the action takes place begins to turn more and more into a fairy tale – so that in the end the line between fantasy and reality is finally blurred.
