The first songbook for children, composed of Belarusian folk songs collected by the famous folklorist Anton Grinevich between 1905 and 1924 in various parts of Belarus.
The songbook includes 33 carefully selected works with melodies - songs, choruses, lullabies, and entertainments. In addition, the compiler included in the collection not only examples of folklore for children, but also introduced them to ritual and non-ritual lyrics, and dance works.
Today – almost a hundred years after the first edition – the collection has received a second life.
This is a bright reprint in a new graphic design with color illustrations, explanations, and texts in Belarusian, Latin, and English.
In addition to sheet music, there is also an audio app to listen to and learn the melodies of songs on your own.
