The Goat of Stone Hill and the Witch of the Hidden City

On the last day of summer, Kazik, an ordinary boy from Kamennaya Gorka, has everything going wrong. Tomorrow is his first day at a new, unfamiliar school, and then an old rabbit has embarrassed him in front of his new friends and escaped from his cage. His search leads Kazik to a subway car that takes him to an underground city of animals who have escaped from the human world. The more Kazik becomes his own among the motley animal people, the more he learns to value friendship and loyalty. And he also slowly realizes that a deadly danger looms over the Hidden City.
