Comedy Judith

The book includes new plays by Sergei Kovalev, written in various genres: historical drama, philosophical comedy, mystical detective, urban fantasy, fairy tale-parable. True to his hermeneutic method, the playwright fruitfully uses motifs and plots of Belarusian and world literature in his plays, brings their authors (Yan Barshcheuski, Vaclav Lastouski, etc.) to the stage alongside the heroes of classical works, inviting the reader, and then the viewer, on a journey through countries, eras, and cultures.
