The main character of the novella titled "Perelet-trava" (Feather Grass) describes his life and personal experiences in forced emigration. First, escaping from Belarus to Russia, then to Ukraine. Next, the beginning of Russian aggression and escaping to Poland, Germany, and Lithuania, all without any documents. Along the way, the main character encounters people who become involved in his fate, help him, and ultimately become part of his emigrant life. The main character laughs, cries, freaks out, loves, and dreams...

The novella "Za Chastakolam" (Behind the Fence) is a unique diary of an ordinary Belarusian psycho, which recounts the psychological states of emigrants and refugees from Belarus (mental disorders, an endless sense of guilt, anxiety, panic, and depression). It's interesting how the author compares being held in Belarusian Navinki and in Lithuania, and talks about psychiatrists in other countries. What is the author trying to convey? He wants to show how people solve these problems, and what and who helps them in such distress. And of course, while doing so, he tries to ironize about himself.

The book also includes short stories written in recent years – "Para Bellum" and "The Lost Key". To conclude – interesting short life stories, some of which were published in periodicals and became legends.
