The album is part of the eponymous project "Traditional Costume," dedicated to the traditional folk clothing of Belarus from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. The first part of the publication includes costumes from the following historical and ethnographic regions of Belarus: Western and Eastern Polesie, Podneprovye,
Ponyamonye, and Central Belarus. The names of costume parts are predominantly given according to local dialect.
It is addressed to everyone interested in Belarusian folklore and traditional culture.
