A new book in the series "Heritage: Reviews", founded by the Association of Belarusians of the World "Fatherland" and the Belarusian Institute of Science and Art, is dedicated to the life and creative work of Father Lev Garoshko (1911–1977). A Greek Catholic priest, he was extensively involved in the study of the history of Christianity in Belarus and especially the past and present state of the Uniate Church, analyzing events in the environment of Belarusian emigration after World War II. Today, when persecution of the Catholic and Uniate Churches in Belarus has resumed, and a significant part of Belarusians are again forced to live abroad, the works written by Father Lev in the 1940s–1950s. acquires particular relevance. The book "Selected" offered to the reader represents both texts about the author, as well as his memoirs and works on the religious history of Belarus, as well as reflections on Belarusian emigration.
