Grazhina

The verse story "Grazhyna" (1823) has been translated into Belarusian twice so far, both in full and in fragments. The book includes a new translation of the story by Maria Martysevich. The author of the translation sought to ensure that the lines, in accordance with the original, impressed the reader with their archaic sound, wanted to convey the cosmos of the work, and devoted a lot of time to studying the text and context.
