A book by reporter, prose writer, translator V. Pestka, which was awarded the All-Polish B. Prus Literary Prize, the R. Skowarada International Literary Prize (Ukraine), the M. Gogol International Literary Prize (Ukraine). The collection contains fictional stories of people who could hardly have become famous during the Soviet era. But time is gradually lifting the veil of mystery and secrecy.
The work has been translated and published in Ukrainian (Lviv, 2012) and Russian (Moscow, 2019).
