Cemetery Book. Belarusian Burials in the World

Materials for the reference album "The Book of Cemeteries. Belarusian Burials in the World" — the 49th book in the "Library of the Fatherland" series — have been collected at the Belarusian Institute of Science and Art in New York since the early 1990s with the help of dozens of interested individuals. The publication covers Belarusian burials in 13 countries around the world, including a detailed description of special Belarusian cemeteries or Belarusian parts of multinational cemeteries in Australia, Great Britain, and the USA, as well as individual tombstones of Belarusians and natives of Belarus in Belgium, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Italy, Canada, France, the Czech Republic, Chile, and Sweden. The authors tried to present not only the tombstones themselves, but also the people who rested under them in order to preserve the memory of hundreds of relatives who remained in a foreign land forever. "The Book of Cemeteries" is the first Belarusian publication of this kind and volume.
