Brazilian folk tales

The publication collects Brazilian folk tales, written down at the end of the 19th century. They have absorbed everything that makes up the culture of the Brazilian people: both the obvious strong European influence, and the love for nature inherent in the indigenous population, and the musical, lively and cheerful breath of Africa. The heroes of these tales are ants and roosters, princesses and monkeys, a malicious jaguar and a cunning moray eel. They trick and charm, win and cry or simply run away, and for us, the readers, it is fun and educational.
