Requiem for the rebels of 1863-1864 (Grodno province)

This book is a requiem for the January insurgents of the Grodno insurgent province, which included today's Grodno, Brest, and Białystok regions. The essays tell about the participants in the demonstration period of 1861-1862, distributors of the newspaper "Muzhytskaya Pravda", members of the underground Grodno revolutionary-democratic organization, commanders of the partisan movement and insurgents-gymnasium students, assistants to the insurgents, deported from the burned-out gentry neighborhoods and villages.

The book contains lists of partisan detachments and missing insurgents. Separate essays are dedicated to Kastus Kalinowski ("Red") and Viktor Starzynski ("White"). Places associated with the insurgents are marked.
