An active participant in the literary movement of the mid-1920s, Eugenia Pflaumbaum left behind not only excellent works, but also the mystery of her biography, which remains a source of speculation about the fate of a creative woman. The book of her selected poems is notable primarily for its interesting works from the 1920s–1930s, which the author did not include in subsequent collections, and works written at the end of her life, which remained in manuscripts.
