Secrets of Belarusian history

Many Belarusians do not know that our people were called Lithuanians until 1840, that there was no "Belarus" in the Middle Ages, but Lithuania - to which the Republic of Lithuania has no relation. The Grand Duchy of Lithuania was created by the Prussian king Mindowg, and Lithuania itself appeared on the territory of Western Belarus around 1220, with the migration of Polabian Slavs here from the West. Belarusians are not "Eastern Slavs", but Slavicized Western Balts. This and many other things, interesting and important for the national consciousness of modern Belarusians, are told in a book designed for a wide range of readers.
