A woman's face in the revolution. The case of Belarus

"I wrote this book for three and a half months. I started working on it in November 2020, shortly after I moved to Vilnius due to political persecution. The book talks about how and why the awakening of Belarusian society began, as well as why women became its face.

In the first chapter, I consider different forms of activation and solidarity of women in Belarus - from the emergence of the hashtag #evolution through women's marches to sisterhood in prisons.

The second is dedicated to the Belarusian society as the main driving force of the Belarusian revolution-in-progress, as well as the analysis of the social and political conditions that liberated it. In addition, I am reflecting here on what was achieved and what was not achieved in 2020.

In the third chapter, I try to conceptualize the awakening of Belarusian society and justify why I use the concept of revolution-in-progress and characterize it as inclusive and post-national.
