Tatyana Zamirovskaya was born in Borisov. For many years she worked as a journalist and music critic in Minsk. Since 2015, she has been living in New York, where she has written several collections of fiction in the metaphysical fiction genre and the best-selling novel "Smerti.net".

This is her first book of non-fiction prose - a collection of essays, memories and reflections about memory and forgetting, music and love, emigration and connection with Belarus through the ghostly identity of a person who once believed that music is stronger than death, and text is more important than life.
