Proposed by perhaps the most famous Spanish philosopher, José Ortega y Gasset (1883-1955), as a means of opening up the world to man, reflections on love and affection find their justification in various fields: including philosophy itself, psychology, the science of values or evaluations, and the history of understanding love or falling in love.
"Etudes on Love and Affection" are a collection of texts originally published by the thinker between 1926 and 1927 in the Madrid newspaper "El Sol" and in the newspaper "La Nación", which is still published in Buenos Aires today. Their first Spanish edition as a separate book was published in 1941.
Addressed to anyone interested in classical philosophy.
