Odysseus of Paleshuk

"The Odyssey of a Poleszuk" is a rare testimony from a Belarusian who fought in the Second Polish Corps during World War II. His memoirs are complemented by historical essays by Igor Melnikov, which reveal little-known pages of the Belarusian past.

The first part of the book contains the memoirs of a Belarusian, a native of the Kobryn region, a soldier of the Second Polish Corps, Pavel Kalenikovich Nichyparuk. In them, he describes in detail and vividly the trials he had to go through during World War II. The second part of the publication contains essays by the Belarusian historian Igor Melnikov, devoted to various aspects of the history of Belarus.
