Anarchism and education. Collection of works

The book "Anarchism and Education" is a unique collection of works dedicated to anarchist pedagogy. Little has been written in Russian about anarchist educational experiments of the past, and there is no systematic substantiation of anarchist ideas in this area at all. This edition is designed to fill this gap.

The book consists of two parts. In the first one, a study of the modern philosophy of education is presented. It exhaustively explains how anarchist education differs from libertarian, progressive, Marxist and liberal models, and also assesses its role in the development and maintenance of a just and equal society. Five articles in the second half of the book tell about successful experiments in the field of anarchic pedagogy.
