Belarusian Linguistic Terminography: Genesis, Structure, Typology

The monograph substantiates the concept of a multi-aspect description of the Belarusian metalinguistic continuum based on the systematization of chronological, structural-content, and typological characteristics of Belarusian dictionaries of linguistic terms. The history of compiling autonomous and incorporated dictionaries is studied, their mega-, macro-, micro-structural parameters, functional features, and the specificity of their metalanguage are determined. A typology of existing terminographic sources is developed.
