The novel "Belarusian Sniper" is inspired by the best works of Tom Clancy and Robert Ludlum. It excellently portrays contemporary Belarusian reality, thus allowing a deeper understanding of both the essence of an authoritarian regime and the motives of those who dare to risk their lives to overcome it. The system treats people as tools, fights against their solidarity and independence, monopolizes the truth, and imposes its own code of conduct. Oleg Prybylovsky, a loyal praetorian of the Belarusian president, becomes convinced of this when he faces a choice and decides to fight for his great love and the preservation of human dignity. Along this path, he meets Pavel Sheret, a journalist who has been trying for years to uncover the dark secret of the Belarusian death squad. Both challenge a cynical and ruthless dictator. The task Oleg undertakes to expose the criminal system and save his beloved leads him to the brink between life and death.
