Bykaŭ on Svaboda

"Bykau on Svaboda" is a collection of radio journalism by the classic of Belarusian literature Vasil Bykau (1924-2003), whose name is inextricably linked with the wave of national revival at the end of the 20th century. "Svaboda" was the only mass media outlet to which Bykau never refused to give an interview. The book also contains reports and commentaries by "Svaboda" correspondents, which show the attitude towards Vasil Bykau from both the authorities and the people – both during the writer's lifetime and during the mournful days of farewell. The new edition includes memoirs about the writer.

The "Svaboda Library" consists of selected programs from the Belarusian Service of Radio Svaboda.
