Why is everything like this?

Four young women come to the reality show "Man Chooses" to find love and fame. But the disappearance of one of the participants, anonymous warning notes, and bizarre contests eloquently suggest that the project's director is conducting his own dangerous experiment, the purpose of which is definitely not love.

Tatyana Karytka's debut book begins as a cheerful parody of a well-known TV project, but in essence becomes a statement about the unreliability of memory and the impossibility of fixing the past as an immutable quantity.
