Children of Alindarka

The heroes of Algerd Bakharevich's novel are Belarusian-speaking children, patients of a mysterious institution called the Camp. Like modern Hansel and Gretel, they find themselves in a dark forest, where they encounter adventures that are not at all childish. A fairy tale, a satire, a dystopia — the book can be attributed to each of these genres, but it will still remain a book about us, those who live here and now.
