An album presenting Belarusian festive clothing of the late 19th and early 20th centuries by region from one of the largest collections of Belarusian costumes in the world outside of Belarus.

All the sets in the collection of American Belarusian Volya Demka and the folklore group VOLYA from Seattle (15 out of approximately 30 variations of Belarusian folk costumes have been collected) are the same traditional costumes, lovingly collected from various sources, from Belarusian villages to international auctions, and restored by the hands of craftsmen.

Today, the collection includes 32 full sets of women's clothing and 3 sets of men's clothing with 234 items and accessories dating from the 1880s to the 1940s, which you can see on 140 pages of Volya's full-color album.
