Adam Mickiewicz's "Grażyna" is one of the most significant poetic works of the early 19th century, where mythological space and history merge into a single whole. In this new translation by Mariya Martysievich, the Belarusian-speaking reader can for the first time experience the true archaic music of its lines and discover the rich cosmos of the work. The book not only brings a classic back into a contemporary context but also offers the translator's "Afterword" – a journey through "Grażyna" across time and culture.
