The verse novel "Grażyna" (1823) has been translated into Belarusian twice in full, as well as in fragments. This book includes a new translation of the novel by Mariya Martysievich. The translator aimed for the lines, in accordance with the original, to impress the reader with their archaic sound, sought to convey the cosmos of the work, and dedicated much time to studying the text and context. In the book, you will also find her "Afterword" – a journey through "Grażyna" in space and time.
