Goal

Heiko Kolbe is a provincial dropout. His mother ran away, abandoning him and his sister, and his father became an alcoholic. Heiko is a gofer at a gym. He rents a room from a criminal who organizes animal fights and whose biggest dream is to acquire a tiger. Heiko's life is "hools." When his best friend is badly beaten and wants to leave the gang, Heiko considers it a betrayal. After all, a new game awaits them—the semi-final match for the German Cup—and a new fight with their sworn rivals from Braunschweig. Philipp Winkler shows us a different world, one that actually coexists with ours, a world whose language is harsh, whose traditions are merciless, a world of losers and those who will soon become them.
