Krvave sonety = Bloody sonnets

"Bloody Sonnets" is a cult anti-war cycle of Slovak literature, written by Pavol Orság Hvezdáslav in the early days of World War I. These 32 sonnets contain pain, anxiety, humanity and a strong appeal against war as a global tragedy. The publication contains the original text in Slovak and its translation into Belarusian, which makes the book valuable for lovers of European poetry and translated literature.

The anti-war cycle of Slovak poet Pavol Orság Hvezdáslav (1849–1921) was written in 1914 and is dedicated to the horrors and disasters that the First World War brought to the European peoples.
