The Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth at its greatest territorial extent — captured on a unique map that was never completed but preserved the spirit of the era.

Map of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by Prussian historian Israel Hoppe (1601-1679)

Colour poster in a tube.
Paper: 200g/m2

Created in the first half of the 17th century, it has only survived in manuscript form and is currently housed in the National Library in Naples.

The map displays the territory of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as well as lands annexed to it. Additionally, it features panoramas of Krakow and Warsaw. The map lost its relevance when the war between the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Tsardom of Muscovy (1654-1667) began and was never completed.

We ship the map rolled in a tube as a separate parcel.
