Vasil Guleuri’s book “Mzia and Sonya” is a collection of poems for children. Mzia is the name of a girl, the little heroine of one of the poetic stories.
Vasil Guleuri is a well-known writer in his homeland and beyond, a repeated nominee and winner of prestigious literary awards. In 2022, during the Tbilisi Literary Festival, Mr. Guleuri met Yury Nestsiarenka, a musician and writer from Belarus. Yury became interested in his colleague's work and created artistic translations of Georgian poems into Belarusian. And now, before you is the result of the cooperation between the Georgian and Belarusian authors!
