Ales Dubrouski-Sarochankau (Aliaksandr Uladzimiravich Dubrouski) was born on November 18, 1976, in Navahrudak. The writer graduated from the Faculty of Philology of Belarusian State University, completed his master's and postgraduate studies at the Department of Literary Theory, and also attended the Theological Institute of the Union of Evangelical Christian Faith in the Republic of Belarus. He holds a Candidate of Philological Sciences degree and is an associate professor. He is also a Doctor of Theology (degree awarded by St. John Chrysostom Theological Seminary, Medellín, Colombia), and a presbyter.
