"Birds Without Nests" are autobiographical memoirs of the poet Larisa Heniyush, who went through the Gulag, but remained unbreakable. This is a testament to heroism, devotion to Belarus and love for her people. In 2024, the Czech authorities recognized that her extradition to the USSR was illegal and restored the citizenship of the Heniyush family. This publication is a tribute to the memory of a true daughter of the Belarusian land.

Larisa Antonovna Heniyush (1910–1983) is a remarkable poet with a distinctive voice. She went through terrible stages, Stalin's death camps. The work is a sincere story of an indomitable, utterly devoted person to the Fatherland, infinitely in love with her native land, with the people of her land. Paying tribute to the memory of the remarkable daughter of the Belarusian land Larisa Heniyush, the Center for Belarusian Culture in Bialystok and the Kamunikat.org Foundation are publishing her memoirs "Birds Without Nests". On December 19, 2024, the Czech authorities decided to restore Czech citizenship to Larisa and Janka Heniyush. The document states that they never lost this citizenship, and that their extradition to the Soviet authorities was illegal.
