Requiem for the rebels of 1863-1864 (Grodno province)

"Requiem for the 1863–1864 Insurgents" is a book of remembrance for the participants of the national liberation uprising in the lands of Grodno Governorate. It reconstructs the fates of people who fought for freedom and restores the names of those who have been forgotten.

This book is a requiem for the January insurgents of the Grodno insurgent voivodeship, which included today's Grodno region, Brest region, and Bialystok region. The essays tell the stories of participants in the manifestation period of 1861-1862, distributors of the newspaper "Mużyckaja Praŭda", members of the underground Hrodna revolutionary-democratic organization, commanders of the partisan movement and insurgent-gymnasium students, assistants to the insurgents, and those deported from burned noble manors and villages.

The book includes lists of partisan detachments and lost insurgents. Separate essays are dedicated to Kastus Kalinoŭski (the "red") and Viktor Starzynski (the "white"). Locations associated with the insurgents are also indicated.
