Russian book

“The Russian Book” (first edition – 1998) consists of texts written by the author in the 1990s for periodicals published in Russian: the magazines “Neman”, “Belarusian Climate” and “Vilnius”, the newspaper “Svaboda” and the Moscow-based “Literaturnaya Gazeta”.

Sergei Dubavets (born in 1959 in Mazyr) is a writer and publisher, editor-in-chief of the newspapers “Svaboda” (1990), “Nasha Niva” (1991–2000), radio “Baltyjskiya Khvali” (2000–2001), and since 1997, the host of his author’s program “Vostraya Brama” on “Radio Svaboda”. He is the author of the books “Praktykavanni”, “Dzyonnik Pryvatnaga Chalaveka”, “Vostraya Brama”, “Vershy”, and others.
