The first comprehensive study in national historiography of the radical changes in family-marital relations and sexual life of Belarusian Soviet society during the first decade of its existence. The period under review was characterized by an incredible freedom of morals, even by today's standards. The sexual revolution challenged the traditional family and marital order, transformed the institution of marriage and the morality based on it, and brought sexuality into public discourse.
