Using little-known and unknown historical sources, mainly Western European, the author examines the language and cults of the ancient Lithuanians, the origin of their name, and their ethnicity. Based on this analysis, he proves the Slavic origin of the tribe that gave its name to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania.
