"Selected Works" by Khvedar Ilyashevich (1910–1948) is an attempt to gather the best examples of the writer's poetic, prosaic, and journalistic work into a single volume. The poems, stories, feuilletons, and literary critical essays of the West Belarusian author, who died at a young age, are supplemented with memoirs about him, as well as a unique epistolary collection from the second half of the 1940s. The texts included in the collection are intended to facilitate the return of Khvedar Ilyashevich's legacy to the national cultural space.
