"I Want to Go Home"

ℹ️ The photographs presented in the album are part of an exhibition-experience titled "I Want to Go Home," organized in October 2022 in Warsaw by the art group "Heartbreaking Performance."

This exhibition was dedicated to the capital of Belarus – Minsk. The photographers presenting their works at the exhibition are now in forced emigration. Looking at the photographs, one can be transported to the Minsk that remains in their memories. The artists want to go home but cannot return. They still hear the sounds of their native city today, feel its scents, which evoke warm memories. Many of them, closing their eyes, see their hometowns and do not know how to soothe the pain of longing for them. We hope that you, too, will feel enveloped in the warm space of their memories. We present Minsk – a city one wants to return to, a city we will definitely return to, Minsk, where it is safe and cozy.
